Could someone please answer me what exactly do we use the Ruby Salvage for?

It’s needed for ruby 5 and up.

It is needed as an equipment for Ruby +4 heroes so that they can advance to Ruby +5. They have only been available from bounties so far with the recent introduction of Ruby bounties.
