Not everyone reads the chat, unfortunately. Would be nice if Alliance leadership could send a daily message that would be pinned.

I agree.
The idea is simple enough and as being a current commander of my own alliance I find myself longing for ways to keep in touch or relay ideas or messages to my fellow alliance members.
Essentially as part of the chat interface or just with within the alliance section if we could get some form of a notice board where we could pin a message that remains until removed/replaced. This would only be visible to current members of the alliance.
I think it would serve as a great means to pass on information, changes within alliance structure or other event planning details. Quite often messages are not seen within chat due to people not all being online at once.
I hope this idea is being considered if not already in the making.
