Im always on & never have been invited to a pvp not even a co op.

All alliance Coops and pvp challenges are alliance wide and last for 2 minutes. First come first serve. You can initiate private invites to ensure better synergies.
Also, use notifications to get alliance alerts. Furthermore this is not very related to PvP.
