Gameplay Changes

:crossed_swords: Shotgun & Pellet-based Weapon Changes:

  • Shotguns split their damage between up to 3 pellets. To deal full damage you must hit the enemy with at least 3 pellets. Hitting an enemy with more than 3 pellets will not deal any additional damage.
  • Some non-shotgun Heroes have had their pellet counts removed. See Hero Changes below;

:sparkles: Shield FX improvements:

  • Shields are brighter and easier to spot from a distance.

Chesterfield Chesterfield

We’ve made overall improvements to the consistency of his basic attacks and made adjustments to his weapon performance and stats to maintain a higher Damage per pellet after the changes made to all shotguns. See Shotgun & Pellet-based Weapon Changes above. These changes were made to allow Chesterfield to remain a viable sustained damage dealer against a singular Rooted and Illuminated enemy target.

    • Improved travel animation & FXs; Flare airbursts.
  • Reworked Double Tap:

    • Adjusted for new Shotgun Mechanics.
    • Bonus Damage on the follow-up shot is boosted for every successful Pellet that hits an enemy)

Panzer Panzer

Major adjustments to her weapon performance to maintain a similar feel after the changes made to all shotguns. See Shotgun & Pellet-based Weapon Changes above. These changes should allow Panzer to relatively keep the same performance while reflecting the changes with an increase to her Power.

  • Adjusted Weapon Performance:

    • Improved Shot Spread; 0.2 > 0.0

    • Improved Damage.

Ronin Ronin

Overall improvements to Active and Passive skills allow Ronin to maintain Damage pressure and skill usage. Bide Time reworks allow Ronin to gain more consistent Damage boosts and bursts of Healing from Allied skill usage. These changes will help to give Ronin more direct benefits from Allied Heroes with high-frequency skill usage, and changes to his boosted Eviscerate allows him to gain a more significant edge in ideal conditions.

  • Improved Eviscerate:

    • Reduced Elemental Damage.
    • Improved Bonused Elemental Damage.
  • Reworked Riposte:

    • Casts a personal Shield that deflects damage for its active duration.
    • Improved Shield Health.
  • Reworked Bide Time:

    • Ronin boosts the damage of his Eviscerate whenever an allied Hero uses a skill.
    • If an enemy dies, Ronin recovers health for each skill used by an allied Hero.
    • Adjusted Scaling & Growth of Elemental Damage per Charge.

Baron Baron

These changes are intended to cement Baron’s role as the premier Cover Breaker, but we wanted to bring this role forward earlier in his progression. The reduction of cover damage from his plat was reallocated to his regular primary weapon cover damage. Additionally, we’ve dramatically improved the bonus Health he gains whenever he Taunts; as Center of Attention’s automatic Taunt regularly drew too much attention often hastening his demise.

  • Improved Weapon Performance:

    • Improved Cover Damage per second; 425 > 675
    • Improved Shot Spread; 0.2 > 0.0
  • Improved Center of Attention:

    • Improved Bonus Health.
    • Bonus Health starts at 1x, and increases for each ally below 50% Health.
  • Adjusted Cover Breaker:

    • Reduced bonus Cover Damage per second; 380 > 180
    • Minor Improved Bonus Damage.

Nightengale_a Nightingale

Significantly increased the Cooldowns of her Bronze skills, both default and legendary. While we intended Nightingale to be a quick reactive Healer, she often outclassed her peers with her flexibility. These changes help to reduce some of the frequency of her Heals to make it easier for her opponents to burn through the low healing amounts.

  • Adjusted Heal Pulse:

    • Adjusted Skill Cooldown Cost; 12 > 16.
    • Minor Improvement to Heal.
    • Minor Improvement to Heal per second.
  • Adjusted Heal Wave:

    • Adjusted Skill Cooldown Cost; 12 > 16.
    • Reduced Heal.
    • Minor Improvement to Heal per second.

Butter Butter

Overall improvements to his Shields help Butter to mitigate a more significant amount of incoming Damage.

  • Improved Weapon Performance:

    • Implemented One-by-one reload.
  • Improved Stats:

    • Improved Critical Chance; 2.6%/shot > 2.0%/pellet
  • Improved Draw Fire:

    • Improved Cooldown Generation; 0.8/shot > 0.6/pellet
    • Increased Shield Health.
  • Improved Defender Shield:

    • Increased Shield Health.

Artemis Artemis

Minor changes to improve the overall effectiveness of her Chimera Arrows when combined with her active skills.

  • Improved Rain Of Arrows:

    • Each volley can generate Chimera Arrows effects.
    • Improved arrow’s travel pattern.
  • Improved Chimera Arrows:

    • Can now be applied by any damage dealt by this Hero, including other skills.
    • Increased Damage over Time Duration; 6 seconds > 8 seconds.
    • Removed stagger on Damage over Time.

for Android the update is there but again no update for iOs

The update on Android is buggy too. The crate for Kaishi was there then gone. Raids some how reset for all and the solo raids are all available.

As usual, we iOS user are very special, lol :joy:

now also for iOS

I am now in an endless desync loop… cannot log in to my account!

Operator: Improve weapon performance. Improved shot spread: 1.0 to 0.0. So my boy is laser accurate?

wait so will there be no gold based crate for Kaishi? I always save my gold for event heroes because if not, I cant upgrade them fast enough for bounty just based on dojo or city hall.

If they are only going to offer a money based crate of the new hero instead of a gold one, thats a really shady move without telling people. I know its their game and they can do what they want, but I do buy the monthly gold package, stock in game gold, and regularly buy gold packs if I need for event heroes. To have done that for this month ahead of time only to find I have to spend real money again could have been avoided if I would have known. Very disappointed if this is the case.

When the update launched I saw a PVP crate that had Kaishi in it, it was a guaranteed drop at tier 4 IIRC. However after a short time they pulled the crate off the shelf. So while its not available immediately I’d imagine that at some point there has to be a Kaishi crate available for gold.

I would think so. As long as its available within a reasonable time, I’m good with the immediate cash offer.

The hero adjustment seem to be really good on first glance, let’s see how they work out later on.
I only hoped for a faster casting of Chesterfields skills when he gets adjusted, because that is his biggest trouble. Each cast takes 3-4 seconds before you can get back to attacking or moving. It makes him a defenseless target for to long.

@BombBella you should check rhe Post, some pictures are not appearing and Casts Sea Mine is listed below Heimlock too. And to list KLG Technicans between the heroes is a bit confusing.

Mmmmmm
Thnx for the nice update
But why the gorgon wakes progress is reseted ???

Panzer melts tanks even harder now, so Hivemind/Baron/Butter all remain pretty suicidal to use.

Eviscerate went from being weak to being DO NOT USE, it already takes ages to build Bide Time now and each killing blows resets it to 0. The base damage is atrocious and even if you do get 5x Bide, it only does as much as the skill did previously with 3x.

Chesterfield got top billing for changes but he’s still crippled by how buggy and slow his trap skill is, but hey it flips in the air now right before landing in a completely different spot from where you aimed it!

Nightingale gets another “barely qualifies as a nerf” nerf. She charges her heal in 3 shots (Usually 12 seconds into a PVP match). Yet now her regular heal got about 15% stronger with the HoT buff. Her Healing Wave got a legit nerf but I haven’t equipped that skin in weeks because I already have other healers do to team healing. Her bronze has always been great but its never been the skill that made her problematic (we do need healing who can shut down early burst).

omni is in VIP chat he said there were issues with the crate so they pulled it, you can buy hero for 30 bucks instead hmm sounds fishy to me. lol

Did you already test Panzer? Because she has quite a big pallet spread which could keep her damage at about the same level as before.

Some very interesting changes to the way weapons preform.

Besides just panzer, a bunch of heroes got a change in how their weapon spread works. Just a quick thing ive notices so far is Matador and Francoise have a wide spread at the start and reduce in spread as you hold the fire button down.
Most got the same pattern as panzer but on a smaller scale, the longer they shoot the wider the spread gets. Some are really small and pretty insignificant (min) while some are a little larger (Halo) and some theres no change whatsoever (Hivemind). Dont know if this will really effect anything, but might make some easier to get headshots with.

Also, the individual reload really helps mandrake out IMO. Sometimes you only need that one last shot, will be helpful in some situations and also help his relocation skill out a little more.

Why HHG did you add ADs now in the middle of gameplay its annoying during gauntlet they pop up randomly uggh? I hate ads why why why? I didn’t see this in the notes that there are random ads?

Played through my whole gauntlet and did not have any ad at all…

My first play through i didn’t have ads. My second play through i have ads randomly.

Sorry but this is silly, both hardscope skins is common and have the same stats boost?
is this true?

if its true, wouldn’t be better if one is rare?
or if its too much work to make rare skin, can they boost different stats instead of same stats?
